How to Join & Downloads.

The u3a year runs from 1st September to 31st August of the following calendar year. The normal annual subscription rate is £10.00 a concessionary rate of £5.00 applies to members who join between the 31st March and 30th June. Members who join after 30th June and pay the normal subscription rate of £10.00 receive free membership for the remainder of the current u3a year; the subscription then runs to the end of August of the following year.
If you are a primary member of another u3a, (paying their full subscription), there is a reduced subscription of £6.00 instead of £10.00 or £3.00 instead of £5.00.

Application Form To download and print the form, Double click on the Application Form on left, which will open in Adobe Reader and then print using the Print icon or by using the shortcut CTRL P.
The Application form is in pdf format these are portable document files and can be opened and viewed with Adobe Reader, which can downloaded from Download Section below, save the file and then double click on (readerdc_install.exe) file which will then Install the pdf reader onto your computer.

The upper half of the application form should be signed and dated after completing your name and address details. Please note that 'First Name' is the familiar name by which you prefer to be known.
Each member of a couple residing at the same address should fill in a separate application form.  (A single cheque for both subscriptions will suffice.)


Please check that you also enclose a DL(4.3" x 8.7") or C5(6.3" x9 ") stamped, self-addressed envelope with your application and your payment, the latest newsletter and your membership card will then be mailed to you.

For renewals please return the renewal form emailed or posted to you in August and enclose a normal size stamped self addressed envelope for your membership card, this acts as a receipt for your payment. Any changes to your details should be marked on the form. Membership cards will only be returned if the SAE is included, they will not be available otherwise due to the current situation regarding Covid19.
