Day Trips

Swanland u3a Day Trips are a fun and relaxed way to get out and about with fellow members. We visit a wide range of interesting places—from pretty market towns and historic landmarks to museums, gardens and stately homes.

If you’ve got a great idea for a day trip, we’d love to hear it! You only need to help with a small part of the organising—travel, timings, or helping on the day.

TRIP A | BOMBER COMMAND CENTRE, LINCOLN
THURSDAY 10^th JULY 2025

Pick-up time: 9.00am at Swanland Pond. Return approx. 4.30pm.

A short guided tour is arranged, followed by free time to explore the Exhibition Hall and outdoor displays including the ceramic poppies.

TRIP B | WENTWORTH WOODHOUSE
THURSDAY 7^th AUGUST

There are still a few places available.

• £25 — Historic Houses Association members
• £38 — National Trust members
• £42 — Non-members

TRIP C | HORNSEA INSHORE RESCUE
MONDAY 1^st SEPTEMBER

Members will need their own transport but car shares can be arranged. Cost: £20 including a tour and fish & chips lunch from Whiteheads of Hornsea.
