17th Jan SE 957 272 Welton A circular route starting with Chapel Hill towards Bow Plantation and Welton Wold Farm. Returning via Welton Dale Estate. Total distance approx 3.5 miles. Streetside parking in Cowgate opposite the church.
07th Feb SE 991 305 Raywell (Nut Wood) Roadside parking to access Nut Wood. Walking towards Turtle Hill and return past Wauldby Dam and farm.
21st Feb SE 896 326 North Cave Parking in children's play area car park opposite the church. Walking to Hotham and return through "The Park".
07th Mar TA 028 415 Leconfield Meet in the car park for the picnic area off Grange Way, Beverley, opposite the Hayride Pub. Flat walking to wards Leconfield. Return via Wilberforce old railway route. 3.2 miles.
21st Mar TA 021 259 Humber Bridge. Meet in the Humber Bridge car park. Easy flat walking across the bridge and back, hopefully mud free! Approx 3.5 miles.
04th Apr TA 042 297 Kingston Rd, Willerby Meet in Kingston Rd near Golf Course and phone box. Walking towards Carr Lane, Wood Lane and Cottingham. Return past Haltemprice Priory remains.
18th Apr Not available Willerby Bottom Park in Haltemprice Sports Centre car park. 4 mile easy walk on roads and some paths and tracks
02nd May TA 030 231 Barton Haven, Humber Bank, Far Ings Nature reserve. Meet in Humber Bridge car park to car share across bridge. Approx 3.5 miles flat walking.
16th May SE 994 474 Lockington Roadside parking in Front St near phone box. 'Beckside Walk' based on E Riding Council’s published walks.
06th June SE 925 295 Ellerker Roadside parking to access public footpath. Walking towards Brough, left to Brantingham. Return via Woodvale Farm and back to starting point. 3.6 miles.
20th June TA 042 297 Springhead to Cottingham Meet in Kingston Rd, Willerby, near golf course and phone box. Walking towards Carr Lane, Wood Lane and Cottingham. Return past Haltemprice Priory remains.
04th July SE 878 270 Broomfleet Circular Park on road outside the old school at the west end of Main St before turning into Sleights Lane. 3.5 miles via canal, Weighton Lock, field tracks and paths.
18th July SE 878 439 Londesborough Park at Towthorpe Corner picnic site on A614. Walking towards Londesborough through deer park, around village and return. 3 miles. Some of us may lunch at the Goodmanham Arms after the walk. Anyone who wants to join us is very welcome to.
01st Aug SE 988 417 Cherry Burton 4.1 miles on roads, fieldside footpaths and old railway track. Mainly flat with 2 sets of steps.
15th Aug SE 888 430 Goodmanham Park in the car park on the left on the main road in the village, (Goodmanham Road) coming from the Market Weighton direction. Approximately 3.6 miles circular along paths, old railway track and pavements to Mkt Weighton and back to Goodmanham. Again, there is the opportunity to join us for lunch at the Goodmanham Arms.
05th Sept TA 030 231 Barton Haven, Humber Bank, Far Ings Nature Reserve Meet in Humber Bridge Car Park by 10.15am to car share across the bridge. Approx 3.5 miles flat walking..
19th Sept SE 922 323 South Cave, Swinescaife Rd. Park carefully, up the hill, a bit away from the cottage. Walking past the quarry towards Comber Dale, return through Drewton Dale.
03rd Oct TA 021 345 Lazaat’s / Jillywood. Roadside parking at the top of Wood Hill Way, Cottingham, near Lazaat’s. Walking through golf course to Burn Wood, returning via Jillywood Lane.
17th Oct TA 021 334 Skidby Mill. Park at car park near Skidby Mill. 4 mile walk through Skidby to Risby, returning via Skidby and Gallows Hill.
07th Nov SE 870 338 Hotham Carrs. Park on the grass verge between Snake Hall and Hutt Farm. PLEASE DO NOT PARK CLOSE TO HUTT FARM OR BLOCK ANY OF THE ROAD 3.6 miles walk.
21st Nov SE 788 300 Eastrington Nature reserve. DN14 7PL Park at Eastrington Nature Reserve carpark, 3.8 mile flat walk. Mainly footpaths and tracks
05st Dec HU10 6QJ Haltemprice Leisure Centre, Park at Haltemprice Leisure Centre. Tranby Trail a 3 mile circular walk on roadside paths and footpaths. Relatively flat.
19th Dec HU17 9DB Tesco’s, Beverley. Park Tesco's (3 hours free) and meet at the Market Cross in Saturday Market. An urban walk, Beverley Crafts and Guilds Trail, not very long but looking for the sculptures and art depicting medieval Beverley. A fun walk for the end of the year!
