 Time:         2.00 - 4.00pm.
 Meetings:  1st Wednesday of Month.
 Venue:        North Ferriby Village Hall.

We in the Bird Watching Group enjoy watching birds in their natural habitat and learning more about them - from facts about their everyday lives to more complex topics such as migration. Everyone is welcome, from the amateur to the expert ‘Twitcher’.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month in the afternoon (2:00 - 4:00pm) and hope that most of these meetings will be at one of the many excellent ‘birding’ sites in our area although we do have North Ferriby Village Hall booked for the winter months where we will learn about a variety of topics.

Looking forward to the bird watching groups winter meetings>,br> After our Spring and Summer programme of visits and our December Lunch (apologies to the Turkey!) we have two meetings planned. On 7th February Colin Bradshaw will be speaking on 'Migration': we all know that many birds travel long distances but perhaps not the 'How' and 'Why'. And on 6th March Penny Darmody will be talking about the North Cave Wetlands. The u3a Lecture on 'The Birds In Your Garden' on January 4th will replace the usual Wednesday meeting of the group.
