About Our Walks

Walk leaders when planning walks should stay on public rights of way (footpaths, bridleways, and byways) especially when crossing farmland or private property. Walking on private land without permission is considered trespassing in England and Wales.

• Walking distance around 4.0 miles on track and field paths
• Stout shoes or boots needed
• Fresh air and exercise in the countryside
• Friendly group of people

We meet on the first and third Wednesday of the month. The walks are around 4 miles followed by an optional cup of coffee / tea at nearest place. We are a sociable group and new members are always welcome. If you have a favourite walk, please arrange with the Group Convenor to lead it.

Using a QR Code to Find a Map

To access walk start points easily using your mobile phone:

• Open your Smartphone’s camera app.
• Point your camera steadily at the QR code until it is fully visible on your screen.
• A notification or yellow link banner should appear automatically.
• Tap the notification or link to open the location in your default map app (e.g., Google/Apple Maps).
• The map app will display the location. Click 'Navigate' for driving directions.

To get directions: Copy the three words provided in the table. Click the image below to launch the website, paste the words into the search box, and click Enter. Once the map updates, select 'Navigate' via Google Maps.
