'Karimeen Pollichathu' is one of the popular fish dishes of Kerala. The origin of this dish is from Southern Kerala where Karimeen ( Pearl spot) is in abundant supply due to the large network of rivers and canals. Sea bream, Sea bass and Salmon are all suitable for this dish.
