All meetings will be held at the North Ferriby Social Club, 6 Low Street, North Ferriby HU14 3DD. Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month and commence at 10.00am, unless otherwise notified. Individual arrangements are made for visits and these will be sent to members prior to the visit by eMail. Refreshments are provided at the meetings.
A fee of £20.00 for the year is charged to members to cover venue hire, refreshments and speaker's fees. U3A members and guests who attend occasionally will be expected to pay £3.00 per session as a visitor to the group.
Visits to nurseries/gardens may involve additional fees for refreshments / entry and in some cases booking is essential.

We will be looking to collect questions from the membership on some of their garden problems or issues.

Gill Tompkinson will be joining us again for a talk also subject to the availability of materials we also hope that Gill can give us a demonstration of her floristry skills in preparing a tied bunch of garden flowers.

Erica Needler and Doreen Robinson have agreed to allow us access to their own gardens to have a look around.

The nursery specialises in spring flowers and bulbs but also has arrange of summer perennials on display.
The nursery has its own shop and café and the visit will cost £7.50 including refreshments.

We have been lucky to book a guided tour at Sledmere and as Booking is essential for this visit, we will need to collect entry fees beforehand.
The tour of the gardens costs £9.50 and an additional charge for refreshments of £3.75.
If members wish to extend their visit by having lunch or booking entry to the house this can be arranged on the day.

We warmly welcome back a regular speaker - Peter Williams whose depth of knowledge continues to astound. He will be talking and giving us some practical tips on recycling garden waste and multiplying our stock.
