Walk leaders when planning walks should stay on public rights of way (footpaths, bridleways, and byways) especially when crossing farmland or private property, and be aware walking on private land without the landowner's permission is considered trespassing in England and Wales.

Our walking group makes a walk a social activity that encourages friendships and promotes wellbeing.

• Fresh air and exercise in the countryside
• Walking distance around 6.5 miles on track and field paths
• Stout shoes or boots needed
• Friendly group of people

We meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. The walks are around 6 miles in length followed by an optional pub lunch. We are a sociable group and new members are always welcome. Why not take a look through our growing collection of walks and discover somewhere new to explore? If you have a favourite walk that isn't yet listed, we'd love to hear from you so we can add it for others to enjoy. We're also always looking for volunteers to organise and lead walks – it’s a great way to share local knowledge, meet fellow members, and help keep our walks varied and vibrant. Whether you're suggesting a route or leading a walk, your contribution can make a real difference.
